In less than a decade, UBC Okanagan has doubled the number of university spaces in Kelowna, doubled its land base, tripled its built infrastructure and tripled spending on cutting edge university research. And it has achieved these milestones in part because of the enthusiastic engagement of those in the Okanagan community. New UBC President Arvind Gupta will speak about his vision for all of UBC, about the UBC Innovation strategy and, especially, about the growing potential of the UBC/Okanagan partnership.
