Event Description: Fall would not be complete without the Uptown Rutland Scarecrow Festival. It’s free, it’s fun and with lots of activities this year, there's something for everyone. Here’s what's in store for 2014: ? Scarecrow Building Contest: Scarecrows can be built ahead of time or right on site that day. Last year we had over 150 scarecrow entries. Prizes will be awarded in various categories again this year. ? URBA is proud to partner with The City of Kelowna. They will be on site to promote healthy play for the mind, body and soul. The city's "inflatable's" will also be on site for hours of FUN. ? Face painting, crazy hair, Lego experience, crafting table, bead booth, Shriner Clowns, and the Kelowna Chiefs will be in place to keep everyone engaged. ? Live Entertainment! Thanks to our partnership with Festivals Kelowna the entertainment is incredible not to mention it's all local talent. Most of the entertainers have performed at many events such as Parks Alive and Canada Day Celebration. ? Marketplace: lots to see, sample, and purchase from local vendors and artisans from around the Okanagan. ? Food Vendor: what's a fair without some of Kelowna's finest Foodie Trucks. Who attends
