Event Description: Colombia is Canada's third largest export market in South America. The Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was implemented in 2011, giving Canadian companies greater access to opportunities in Colombia. The FTA lowers barriers to trade and provides expanded opportunities for Canadian exporters and investors in a broad range of sectors, such as oil and gas, mining, ICT, agriculture and agri-food, and manufacturing. Colombia is also home to a highly educated workforce, and the FTA has worker mobility provisions making it easier for Canadian companies to hire skilled workers. This seminar will be of interest to all Small and Medium-sized businesses that have a product or service with Global Potential, as well as companies looking to recruit skilled workers. The seminar will have information on: benefits of the Free Trade Agreement Industries and sectors of interest worker mobility provisions of the FTA Canadian success stories in Columbia Pre-registration for this free seminar is required as space is limited.
