Event Description: Kelowna’s new multicultural event organizer, Choi’s Choice Wine Consulting is launching a series of culinary events to be held throughout the year, pairing different Asian cuisine with Okanagan wines, as part of an ongoing effort to foster stronger relations between the culturally diverse palette of the central Okanagan. To kick off the series,Genjie Japanese Restaurant and Choi’s Choice Wine Consulting are hosting a gourmet Sushi and BC Wine Pairing Dinner on March 3rd, 2010, 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Guests will enjoy a unique multi course menu paired with a handful of distinct BC wines. Local wine expert and educator Gerrit Van Staalduinen will be the host for the evening, on hand to present wines throughout this lively and informative dinner. This special event will provide an opportunity to showcase both authentic Japanese cuisine, as well as a perfectly matched selection of quality Okanagan wines.
