Red Tape Reduction Public Consultation

As a member of the Kelowna Chamber, you are invited - the men and women in the financial trenches - to share your ideas and experiences by participating in the Canada Revenue Agency's (CRA) upcoming Red Tape Reduction public consultations.

This Roundtable will provide an opportunity to help address red tape faced by small and medium businesses. Your voice will make a difference and will help the CRA establish future initiatives geared towards the business community. Representatives from the CRA are touring the country to hear the views of small and medium business owners and thanks in part to the active role our Chamber has played in business advocacy over the years; Kelowna will be one of their key stops.

As a Kelowna Chamber member, with an interest in small or medium business, you are invited to participate in a consultation session which will be facilitated by CRA senior officials. We encourage you to come prepared to share your views on the CRA's progress in reducing red tape as well as bringing your recommendations to assist in ensuring that the CRA's red tape reduction plans continue to meet the needs of small and medium businesses. For those not able to participate in these in-person consultations - or anyone else interested in sharing their views - you are invited to provide feedback through a CRA online consultation tool that will be available on the CRA's red tape reduction website.

The feedback gathered will be included in a final report and will help the CRA establish its red tape reduction priorities for the next two years.
