Event Description: Shelter form the Storm is Canada’s largest national campaign dedicated to ending violence against women. Until May 9th, you can help the Canadian Women’s Foundation raise funds to support violence programs and more then 400 shelters for abused women across Canada (including 89 in B.C.) On Friday May 7th, tune in to the Q103.1 for the Q103.1 Shelter from the Storm Radiothon, broadcasting live from the Kelowna HomeSense from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funds raised during the Radiothon will support the Kelowna Women’s Shelter and violence prevention programs in B.C. You can donate by calling (phone number will be announced regularly on the air), or in person at any BMO Bank of Montreal location or in person at the Kelowna HomeSense.
