We’ve just come through unprecedented economic times in the global economy. Contrary to economic forecasts last year, BC’s growth was better than the national average at minus 2.3 percent, which
beat the national average of minus 2.9 percent. Clearly, there are still many risks in the global economy but through prudent fiscal management and fiscal policy that encourages economic growth and diversity, BC will emerge from the recession stronger and more vibrant.
