Event Description: Peter Payne and New Ventures BC will be presenting this two hour seminar and will take the audience through everything they need to know to perfect their business pitch. Topics will include knowing your audience, building substance, and packaging style (using the Pitch Pyramid). Walk away with not only the knowledge on how to perfect your pitch but also a worksheet that will guide you through the technicalities. This session is a part of Startup Basics. Developed for early stage entrepreneurs and career-changers, the Startup Basics Program supplies participants with the tools and resources to accelerate their idea to the next stage in their entrepreneurial journey. Startup Basics is comprised of weekly sessions and seminars occurring from September to December 2015. Sessions are presented by Community Organizations, Accelerate Okanagan Executive in Residence Mentors, Partners, Clients, and Alumni. Each session is designed to educate the entrepreneur on the fundamentals essential to developing their startup.
