Event Description: Enjoy an in-depth look into the proper processes needed to obtain funding and the types of funding opportunities that are available for startups. In this hour and a half seminar you will be provided with a well-rounded view on funding and the tips and tricks for gaining funding. Come with your questions as this session will be followed by a 20 minute Q&A. This session is a part of Startup Basics. Developed for early stage entrepreneurs and career-changers, the Startup Basics Program supplies participants with the tools and resources to accelerate their idea to the next stage in their entrepreneurial journey. Startup Basics is comprised of weekly sessions and seminars occurring from September to December 2015. Sessions are presented by Community Organizations, Accelerate Okanagan Executive in Residence Mentors, Partners, Clients, and Alumni. Each session is designed to educate the entrepreneur on the fundamentals essential to developing their startup.
