Event Description: Your team is one of the most important factors in the success of your company. Reid Schretlen, Manager of Client Services at InHouse will discuss how to hire and recruit individuals that will best mesh with your company and its environment. Additionally, this session will explore the legalities behind contracts and other hiring logistics, with a focus on contractors. This hour and twenty minute seminar will be followed by a brief 10 minute Q&A period. This session is a part of Startup Basics. Developed for early stage entrepreneurs and career-changers, the Startup Basics Program supplies participants with the tools and resources to accelerate their idea to the next stage in their entrepreneurial journey. Startup Basics is comprised of weekly sessions and seminars occurring from September to December 2015. Sessions are presented by Community Organizations, Accelerate Okanagan Executive in Residence Mentors, Partners, Clients, and Alumni. Each session is designed to educate the entrepreneur on the fundamentals essential to developing their startup.
