Event Description: "Make a customer, not a sale." – Katherine Barchetti Better understand where your company needs to be improving and where it is excelling in this week’s session on metrics. With a focus on measuring growth Accelerate Okanagan Entrupruner in Residence, Lance Schafer, will demonstrate how to simplify metrics to suit your company’s needs and impact the efficiency and effectiveness of your company. Learn the importance of making your first inestor your customer, and how you can use metrics to build a successful customer relationship. This session is a part of Startup Basics. Developed for early stage entrepreneurs and career-changers, the Startup Basics Program supplies participants with the tools and resources to accelerate their idea to the next stage in their entrepreneurial journey. Startup Basics is comprised of weekly sessions and seminars occurring from September to December 2015. Sessions are presented by Community Organizations, Accelerate Okanagan Executive in Residence Mentors, Partners, Clients, and Alumni. Each session is designed to educate the entrepreneur on the fundamentals essential to developing their startup.
