Event Description: This fall we wanted to offer something more than just a workshop. We wanted to expand our platform and add something truly creative and exciting. Science is supporting us in this dynamic workshop, proving that “Creativity” is an incredibly valued human attribute in every single human endeavor, be it work or play. While learning, in relationship and through business, creativity is the engine that drives progress. People who can think creatively and flexibly frequently have the best outcomes.” With that in mind, we created a fun-filled day of imaginative expression with divine teacher and spiritual artist; Whitney Freya. We have asked Whitney to come here from her home in the USA to share her talented way of letting you Paint, Splatter and Scribble your sacred symbol and purest essence; a true exploration into self via paint. This is a workshop like no other workshop including all your food and wine at the stunning Manteo Lakeside Resort. All your art supplies are included, and you will go home with a 24x30 canvas of your own creation. Laurie Koss will make the morning address. Laurie lives in Kelowna, B.C. and enjoys regular time in her studio, painting large canvases inspired by her own black and white photography. In 2015, Laurie’s work was featured on Canada Post’s Flower Series stamps and a Royal Canadian Mint $20 collector’s coin. She is a prolific artist who has used her gift and talent to create a legacy in her life and for Canada. It is with great pleasure that we are donating a portion of our proceeds to the MIKE Endowment Project. This initiative is creating something we believe in and our dedication to their vision reflects in our support. Your support will also help them, as they strive towards their goals and create a better place for all kids; young and old to celebrate and invigorate their gifts and talents. Be your Quintessence is an organization devoted to supporting amazing women, be their amazing selves. Through retreats, workshops, events and products, it brings like minded, motivated and mindful women together so they can grow and transform individually while inspiring and making a difference globally.
