Event Description: We are delighted to invite you to the spring HR Community Showcase & Mingle for the Southern Interior at Head Office of the Kal Tire organization. This special occasion will provide you with a unique perspective of one of the Okanagan's iconic organizations. Kal Tire began in Vernon in 1953 and has grown to become the largest independently owned tire dealer in Canada, in addition to a global operation to service tires at mines in over 15 countries. The organization now has over 5000 employees! The new head office was built in 2012 and is a truly world-class facility. The evening will include: - A behind-the-scenes tour of this impressive facility - An HR focused presentation looking at the organization's operation from a people-perspective - Networking time with Appies Reception Places are strictly limited for this opportunity to take a look under the hood of this stand-out Okanagan success story. Food & drink included in the ticket price (non-alcoholic due to on-site corporate policies). Doors open 5pm. The first tour will leave at 5:15pm, the last tour will leave at 5:30pm (don't miss it!)
