Event Description: Three nights of performances of James and the Giant Peach by students at Studio9 School of the Arts in Kelowna at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Evening shows re at 7 pm with two 12:15 pm matinees on June 16th and 17th. Family friendly and family priced. A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, a boy and his insect friends take an amazing journey across the ocean in a giant peach.Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl’s James And The Giant Peach JR. is a brand new take on this “masterpeach” of a tale. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic.
