Event Description: Powered by Accelerate Okanagan, Women In Tech Unplugged brings together a panel of successful women who are helping to power technology in the Okanagan community. Join us on May 17th for this must-attend event at Streaming Cafe featuring a Chief Operating Officer for a local tech company combatting internet bullying, an accomplished animation industry professional, and a UBCO Professor with a passion for history and technology. Moderated by Judy Bishop, well-known BC tech industry advisor and Executive in Residence (EiR) at Accelerate Okanagan, these inspiring women in tech will share their stories and experiences from different fields within the industry. We’ll ask how they got into tech, what they have learned along the way, and what's next for them. We’ll start the evening with valuable networking time, then move to the panel discussion and audience Q&A. Top notch refreshments and food will be available from Streaming Cafe.
