Event Description: At Startup Skool, we’re focused on teaching the next wave of young leaders ages 9 to 18, how to think with an entrepreneurial mind, so that one day they can tackle our society’s most difficult social and environmental problems – and make real change. Our hands-on programs focus on developing the core skills that are found in today’s cutting edge leaders: Design Thinking, Technological Prowess, and an Entrepreneurial Drive to improve the future of our society. Your child will learn the fundamentals of starting their own business and creating their first website, ultimately building a foundation to excel in the real world. Each Course Includes: Interactive, Hands-on Learning 6:1 Student to Instructor Ratio M – F, 9am – 4pm. Early Drop Off and Late Pick up Available No Extra Charge. Daily Snacks, T-shirts, And Take Home Swag Digital Portfolios. Individual Headshot included! Program Assessments and Graduation Certificates Locations: Vancouver – UBC, Red Academy Burnaby – SFU Victoria – UVic Kelowna – Co+Lab Throughout the week, your child will either build a plan on how to turn their idea into a real business, or work on an existing business challenge. On the final day, they will present their concept to a “Dragons’ Den” panel of respected local entrepreneurs. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to expose your child to a new way of thinking!
