Event Description: Early Music Studio presents Enlightened: Music from Germany and Austria around 1700 Susan Adams, harpsichord Clive Titmuss, lute Sunday, November 6 at 2:30 pm Kelowna Forum, 1317 Ethel (at Cawston), in Kelowna Tickets: $22 and $20 Students and Seniors Kelowna Tickets Orchard Park, Annegret’s Chocolates Towne Centre, http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2603518 Before there was a Mozart, a host of composers wrote great music in Germany and Austria. Early Music Studio musicians Clive Titmuss, lute and Susan Adams, harpsichord play some of this beautiful repertoire on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2:30 pm. Clive, an intenationally known luthier, plays four on his beautiful baroque lutes that reflect the aesthetics of early 18th Century Europe; while Susan plays a stunning double-manual harpsichord modelled on an instrument from France. Music by Bach, Weiss, Pachelbel, Muffat, Hinterleitner, Weichenberger, Ludwig, Boehm and others. The event takes place at The Forum, 1317 Ethel (at Cawston) in Kelowna.
