Event Description: The big Annual Business Banquet is the most publicly anticipated and prominent function of the Okanagan School of Business, OC, and is produced by the volunteer student members of the executive committee of the OBSA. It's hard to imagine a finer collection of up and comers (or a better target market) than these young adults poised for success in Kelowna, the province and beyond, eagerly looking to embrace their professional futures. You can be a part of this event. The OBSA's Honorary Chair is Kelowna's 1st Lady of goodwill, Maxine DeHart, and the program will include our Emcee Walter Gray, Norm Letnick, Ron Cannan, council members, academics, and many more prominent members of our community. The banquet gathering will be about half provincial industry leaders, executives from a major accounting and consulting firms, senior faculty, professional association representatives and Kelowna chamber members, and about half Okanagan School of Business high-achievers. This is an outstanding opportunity to interact and enjoy the company of a strong concentration of Kelowna's movers and shakers of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Tickets are on sale now, and participation is still available for a few sponsorship slots. The evening will include floating hors d'oeuvres, a superb Silent Auction (including some startlingly valued items), our keynote speakers in from Winnipeg and Vancouver: The Clodhoppers (the entrepreneurs of candy empire fame), and a delicious fresh foods dinner from the Capri's 5-star kitchen.
