More about Keynote Brian Scudamore: Brian Scudamore is an entrepreneur recognized for his passion, vision, and faith in people. Punchy and vividly anecdotal, he shows you clear and simple steps to take any business from ordinary to exceptional, while building great company culture and attracting positive media attention. He shares his leadership and growth strategies and bottom line results.

Starting with just one truck and a great idea, Brian Scudamore grew 1-800-GOT-JUNK? into one of North America’s most successful companies (it’s now a household brand and a major player in three countries). He’s poised to do the same with ventures WOW 1 DAY PAINTING, You Move Me, and the most recent addition to his home service-based empire, Shack Shine. Creating a globally admired organization like O2E Brands, Scudamore says, comes down to articulating your vision and building a culture around the right people. With his entrepreneurial, marketing, and leadership experience, he offers plenty of compelling takeaways, but also the belief that businesses can—and must—strive to become better every day.

As the founder and CEO of O2E Brands, Scudamore and his companies have received widespread recognition in the media and business community, with features on CNN, ABC Nightline, Undercover Boss, and Oprah. Scudamore has shared his impressive story in Fortune Magazine, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, to name a few. A recognized thought leader, who recently coined a modern, relevant term for franchising—entrypreneurship—Scudamore is a frequent contributor to publications including Forbes, PROFIT, and The Globe and Mail’s Leadership Lab. This year, he was also the recipient of The Aird & Berlis LLP Award for Canadian HR Champion, CEO of the Year: an award that “recognizes the CEO who has driven successful HR strategies from the top by putting people first and championing innovative HR values.”

A strong believer in personal and professional development, Scudamore graduated from MIT’s Birthing of Giants program, and is a participant in YPO Presidents University executive education program at Harvard University. He has amassed numerous awards and accolades, including being named Entrepreneur of the Year by the International Franchise Association.
