Event Description: Are you a solopreneur, freelancer or bootstrapper looking to connect with other local entrepreneurial movers and shakers? The Okanagan Solopreneur Mixer is for indie entrepreneurs out there (solopreneurs, small business owners, startups) who would like to connect, collaborate, and partner to help jump-start or grow your business. You May Be Thinking “Why Would I Want To Attend?” • You are looking for a to meet a qualified indie contractor for your gig. • You need a gig? Get hired on the spot by solopreneurs or small business owners. • Share war stories and participate in engaging discussions with like-minded individuals. • Form a collaboration with people who are as passionate and driven as you. • Simply mingle, have fun, get out of the house and gain new friends. This event is LIMITED seating. Tickets WILL sell out, so get yours today! We will have tasty treats provided by Ross at The Codfathers. And... we have a challenge for you! To make the evening fun and engaging, we would like to ask you to think about the following: 1. What help you can offer to someone in the group? (e.g. FREE advice, tips, coaching, your service or product, etc.) 2. What help do you need from someone in the group? (e.g. “I need honest feedback on the web design of my site.”) Then, during the introductions, we’ll open the floor to anyone who has an ask or an offer. After that, it's a free-for-all. Approach the person you want to talk to or converse with someone who wants to talk to you. It's that simple. Event Details Date and Time: February 10th, from 5pm to 7pm Venue: Okanagan co+Lab, West Campus event space. Located at 1405 St. Paul Street, in suite 204. Fee: $5 online early-bird and $10 at the door, which gets you appetizers and a drink ticket along with admission. There will appetizers and a cash bar. Water will be provided for non-drinkers. We can only accommodate a maximum of 50 people so please RSVP immediately so we can reserve your slot. If you are still not sure, please cancel your RSVP to allow others to join.
