Event Description: The HRMA is delighted to invite you to the spring HR Community Showcase & Mingle for the Southern Interior at Kelowna City Hall and Council Chambers. This event is sponsored by Glendinning Insurance Services. This special occasion will provide you with a unique perspective of one of the Okanagan's largest organizations which is central to so many functions in the community. The City of Kelowna has approximately 1000 employees in operations as diverse as parks & recreation, the airport, roads & transportation, property, waste management and much more. The evening will include: - A behind-the-scenes tour of City Hall - An HR focused presentation looking at the organization's operation from a people-perspective, to be held in Council Chambers! - Networking time with Appies Reception and a glass of wine included Places are strictly limited for this opportunity to take a look under the hood of this Central Okanagan cornerstone. (Food & drink included in the ticket price). Doors open 5pm. The first tour will leave at 5.05pm, the last tour will leave at 5.15pm (don't miss it!)
