Event Description: Kelowna’s first dedicated Xeriscape and water-wise plant nursery set to open its doors April 18th. This boutique nursery provides a variety of plants, grasses and trees that work well in the natural desert climate of the Okanagan. With water use becoming more of an issue in the world, Hampton has been working with the City of Kelowna to develop a lower water use nursery to grow and sell plants to the Okanagan. From hearty flowers to water-wise trees and much more, Hampton Xeri Nursery will provide people with a good selection of specialty plants and trees, from tall ornamental grasses to artificial turf, Hampton Zeri-nursery will supply a wide variety of products to help home owners. As a member of the Okanagan Xeri organization, Hampton’s on-staff horticulturists will provide customers with some insight to what Xeriscaping is.
