Event Description: The Centre culturel francophone de l’Okanagan (CCFO) is inviting you to come celebrate the unveiling of the historical murals that will adorn the outdoor wall of its building. The objective of these murals is to promote diversity and share the history of the Francophones in the Okanagan while contributing to Kelowna’s downtown revitalization. The artist as well as experts in the city’s history will be on site to answer the questions you may have. This project was made possible through a partnership between City of Kelowna Community Public Art Program, The Central Okanagan Foundation and the CCFO. Friday, May 31st, 2013. From 11 am – 1 pm. Finger food from yesteryear for sampling: maple cotton candy, maple sugar pies, traditional pea soup. Come soak in some culture!
