Event Description: Business research can provide knowledge about the organization, the market, the economy and other areas of concern. The need for business intelligence supported by a connection to the real world is more important than ever. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of business research to managers and how it provides accurate information for decision making. Dr. Lynn Sparling will show managers how to better use this business intelligence by understanding the research process: defining the opportunity or problem, gathering and analyzing relevant data, and communicating the findings and the implications of the findings.
