Event Description: Feed your passion! 20 Food Stations, 11 Wineries, 8 Chefs, Multiple Musicians & Artists, all under the most beautiful roof in the Okanagan! You may already enjoy Rotary Centre for the Arts performances and galleries, but now is your chance to discover the culinary arts at WAM, our signature event on June 15th. Imagine a wine tasting and foodie adventure that explores the whole Okanagan Valley in one gorgeous location, the RCA. This year, we are looking forward to incorporating the “Farm to Table” relationships, uniting food producers, chefs, wineries and YOU! WAM! is joining forces with Jennifer Schell, author of The Butcher, The Baker, The Wine & Cheese Maker - An Okanagan Cookbook to celebrate the Okanagan Valley’s best chefs, farmers, winemakers, entertainers and artists. Expect all your senses to be stimulated with the smells and flavors of regional culinary arts, the sights of eye-catching visual arts and the rhythms and sounds of performing artists. WAM! is worth a visit for that 'standing O' experience! The Emcee for the evening will be CHBC’s Jessica Samuels. Spend the evening sampling wine, beer and ciders, all from BC producers. The Livessence figurative artists will participate in a life drawing session and and HeART Fit members will share their deep appreciation for the healing benefits of creative expression. MUSIC There will be a dance party featuring the diverse talents of Julie Masi and her band Cover 2 Cover. Ari Neufeld is one of the visually innovative and diverse musicians performing. If sound can be made with the human body, he's probably figuring out how to make it. Multi-Instrumentalist, Tanya Lipscomb (of the Dharma Dolls) brings her hearty and humorous performance to WAM! WAM! is a Safe Ride Home event powered by Turner Audi. Expect an incredible night out with thanks to our partners, Turner Audi, Odlum Brown, the Kelowna Daily Courier and Wine Trails Magazine.
