Ever wondered about probate and vehicle transfers in BC? Here's the breakdown: If the deceased's estate value is under $25,000, probate isn't necessary to transfer a vehicle to a new owner - it’s a streamlined process! For estates exceeding $25,000, regardless of the vehicle value, if the vehicle was in the deceased’s sole name, a grant of probate is required. Planning matters. If you have questions or need guidance on probate and estate planning, contact us to navigate the process. #Probate #EstatePlanning #BCProbate #OakTreeEstateLaw

Selecting a guardian for your children in case the unexpected happens can be emotional, but it's a vital step for peace of mind. By appointing a guardian, you secure the knowledge that your children will be cared for by someone you trust. If circumstances evolve or your preferences shift, you can update your Will and appoint a new guardian at any time. #Guardian #EstatePlanning #PeaceOfMind #EstatePlanninglawyer
